How you’ll make an impact
As Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance team with the accurate processing of financial transactions and help maintain strong financial controls.
- Process daily payments and receipts, ensuring accurate posting to the ledger
- Support accounts payable by processing purchase invoices and preparing supplier payments
- Assist with billing activity and ensure cases are invoiced correctly
- Manage payments to clients and third parties while maintaining accurate records
- Investigate and resolve outstanding or residual balances on accounts
- Respond to finance queries from operational teams across the business
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure transactions meet compliance requirements
- Assist with month-end tasks, including reconciliations and reporting support
- Help improve finance processes and support the smooth running of the finance function
Why you’re a great fit
- At least 2 years’ experience in a finance, accounts or transactional role
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, payments processing and ledger accounting
- Experience handling financial transactions with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
- Confident communicator able to work with different teams across a business
