Financial Controller

Core3 are delighted to partner with a market leading construction company to recruit a Financial Controller in Bristol. £80,000-£90,000 and hybrid working.

The organisation needs an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance team and continue the high-level of management reporting.

How you’ll make an impact

Your role will be to lead, motivate and engage a finance team of three, whilst focusing on continuous improvement. You will also be a key business partner for the Directors, providing decision support across the organisation.

• Manage the core Finance team, 3 direct reports
• Oversee the firms budgeting and reforecasting process including cash flow
• Develop strong relationships with Directors and project managers, working with them to ensure their budgets are understood, owned and controlled.
• Present financial reports to the board, including evaluation and commentary on the monthly performance.
• Continuous improvement of systems & processes
• Manage the Month-end and Year-end close process.
• Manage all accounting operations
• Be responsible for the external audit process.
