How you’ll make an impact
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring strong financial controls, and supporting decision-making across the business. You’ll manage the day-to-day running of the finance function, oversee a small team, and act as a trusted partner to senior leadership.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting commentary
- P&L analysis including management of prepayments, accruals, and adjustments
- Detailed revenue and cost reconciliations to ensure reporting accuracy
- Payroll reconciliations and accruals
- Daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting
- Variance analysis against budget and forecast, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Management of VAT analysis, preparation, and submission
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and maintenance of risks and opportunities schedules
- Supporting and mentoring finance team members
- Business partnering with internal departments and senior leadership
- Assisting with annual budgets and periodic reforecasts
- Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvements across finance processes and controls

- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified – QBE considered
- Demonstrable experience of management accounts, reconciliations, and reporting
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
- Experience mentoring or managing team members
- A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
What you’ll get in return
- £55,000-£60,000
- Hybrid working (2 days wfh – Thursday/Friday)
