How you’ll make an impact
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis across your area of responsibility
- Partner with senior stakeholders to improve performance, accountability and cost control
- Deliver clear month-end reporting, variance analysis and practical financial insight
- Support budget holders with management accounts, budgetary control and financial awareness
- Identify and track risks and opportunities, reflecting them in forecasts and monthly reporting
- Strengthen KPI reporting to connect operational activity with financial performance
- Oversee project spend, ensuring approvals, controls and business case discipline are followed
- Coordinate external regulatory reporting and information requests accurately and on time
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting outputs and financial controls across the wider finance function
Why you’re a great fit
You’ll be a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and translate numbers into meaningful business insight. You’ll bring strong commercial judgement, alongside the confidence to challenge assumptions and support better decision-making.
You’ll also have experience in:
- Business partnering in a commercial or operational environment
- Budgeting, forecasting and month-end close
- Variance analysis, management accounts and financial control
- Building models for scenario analysis and decision support
- Presenting complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills, including working with large and imperfect data sets

- Salary: £55,000
- 2 days a week office / 3 days home
