How You’ll Make an Impact
You’ll bridge the gap between finance and other business units by analysing financial data, creating budgets and forecasts, and developing strategic plans. You’ll play a critical role in providing constructive, data-driven challenge and driving efficiency and financial outcomes.
- Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, manage, and update budgets and financial forecasts.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to formulate and implement business strategies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and review financial performance of various business units, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the finance department and other business units, ensuring clear communication of financial information.
- Business Case Development: Support the creation of business cases for new projects or investments with financial analysis and insights.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Decision Support: Provide financial input and analysis to support key business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
