Management Accountant

How you’ll make an impact

Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, reconciling balance sheets, and delivering comprehensive KPI reporting. Perform profit and loss analysis, stock reconciliations, and maintain detailed fixed asset registers.

• Prepare monthly Management Accounts and reports.
• Monitor production costs, material usage, and labour efficiency.
• Track Material Price and Usage Variance.
• Identify waste reduction and resource optimisation opportunities.
• Track and value inventory, ensuring financial alignment.
• Minimise holding costs while preventing stock shortages.
• Conduct periodic stock audits to reconcile inventory.
• Track CAPEX costs, comparing actuals to budgets.
• Monitor CAPEX project milestones for schedule and budget adherence.
• Analyse CAPEX variances to address cost and timeline deviations.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset register.
• Process CAPEX transactions, additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Record journal entries for accruals, deferrals, and corrections.
• Ensure correct classification of monthly income and expenses.
• Review, analyse, and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

• CIMA, ACCA or part qualified or newly qualified
