Credit Controller – Remote – 12 Month FTC

Core3 are delighted to partner with a leading international professional services firm to recruit a Credit Controller on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fully remote opportunity offering high flexibility and a great work-life balance.

How you’ll make an impact

As Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing and reducing the firm’s outstanding debt by building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role will involve:

• High volumes of internal and external communication to chase aged debt.

• Regular liaison with Partners, Lawyers and Clients to resolve debt issues.

• Working with wider Finance teams to identify and resolve the root causes of debt.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on the 3E system.

• Developing strategies to maximise collections and reduce delinquencies.

• Helping the business achieve cash collection targets and improve financial outcomes.

You’ll bring proven experience in credit control or debt recovery, ideally from a professional services background. You are organised, proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’re a confident communicator who can build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Experienced in all areas of collections, ideally including insurance or bad debt (not essential).

• Client-focused with excellent communication and numeracy skills.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a changing workload.

• Self-starter with a flexible, solutions-focused mindset.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and preferably experienced in using 3E or a similar legal finance system.
