Strategic Finance Analyst

Core3 are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing tech scale-up in Central London to recruit a Strategic Finance Analyst. £55,000–£80,000 plus excellent benefits and huge scope for progression.

This is not a typical finance analyst role. As a Strategic Finance Analyst, you’ll be working on M&A, valuations, commercial modelling, and strategic projects that directly influence growth decisions. You’ll gain exposure to an impressive CFO and leadership team in a business achieving 200% YoY growth, with the chance to shape strategy while building your career in one of the most dynamic sectors.

This role is perfect for someone from a transaction services or management consulting background who wants to step into an exciting in-house role.

How you’ll make an impact

You’ll be the go-to for commercial analysis, supporting investment decisions, growth plans, and financial strategy. Working closely with the CFO, you’ll contribute directly to fundraising, M&A, and scaling projects – giving you visibility and influence across the business.

What you’ll be responsible for

Financial Modelling & Analysis

• Build and refine complex financial models to support strategic decisions

• Analyse performance trends and highlight growth opportunities

Strategic Projects

• Support on M&A opportunities, valuations, and due diligence

• Provide insights to help guide international expansion and new market entry

Commercial Decision Support

• Partner with senior leadership to evaluate initiatives and investment cases

• Deliver clear, actionable insights that shape company strategy

Process & Systems

• Develop tools and dashboards to improve decision-making visibility

• Support finance transformation projects as the business scales

• 1–3 years’ experience in transaction services, management consulting, or strategic finance

• Strong commercial mindset and analytical capability

• Excellent modelling and Excel skills, with exposure to valuations or M&A a plus

• Not necessarily an accountant – but confident navigating financial data
