Billing Analyst
Core3 are delighted to partner with a fast growing clean energy business to recruit a Billing Analyst opportunity in Manchester. £35,000 to £40,000 and hybrid working.

How you’ll make an impact
This is a hands on billing role supporting the monthly billing cycle and the detailed work that sits around it. You’ll be trained by the billing specialist currently running the process and will quickly become the go to support and cover point for billing.
Responsibilities include:

Supporting monthly billing runs across commercial customers

Validating billing inputs and investigating exceptions before invoices go out

Handling rebills and billing adjustments following queries or disputes

Spotting missing data, misalignment, and unusual patterns, then working with internal teams to resolve

Supporting reporting and helping improve controls and process over time

Highly detail focused and accurate, with a strong data mindset

Confident manipulating data in Excel, including basic formulas (for example CountIfs, Xlookups)

Comfortable working under pressure and turning work around to tight deadlines

Coming from a transactional finance, billing, operations, or data heavy admin background

A good cultural fit, collaborative, reliable, and happy in a back office role supporting the wider team
What you’ll get in return

£35,000 to £40,000 basic salary

Hybrid working, 3 days in the office, with Wednesday as the team day

Standard working hours (typically 8 to 4 or 9 to 5)

Training and development in a role that will build strong operational finance and billing capability
