Core3 is delighted to be working with a professional services business in Bristol to recruit a Finance Manager – (Controls & Reporting) to join their team.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Own the month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Review management accounts and maintain general ledger integrity
  • Build and embed a robust financial control framework
  • Deliver statutory reporting and support external requirements
  • Manage audits and act as a key contact for auditors
  • Partner with finance teams to improve processes and reporting
  • Support budgeting and forecasting with reliable financial data
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial control and reporting

Why you’re a great fit

Essential

  • You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Strong experience in financial control, month-end and management accounts
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team
  • Track record of improving processes and implementing controls
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
  • Able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines

Desirable

  • Experience with statutory reporting and audit management
  • Interest in systems, automation and process improvement (e.g. Power Apps)
