Head of Finance

Core3 is delighted to be partnering with a commercially focused, growing business with a collaborative and down to earth culture to recruit a Head of Finance to join its Bristol office.

As Head of Finance in the Bristol area, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape how finance supports performance and decision-making. This is a hands-on role with real influence and clear progression as the business grows.

How you’ll make an impact

• Lead the month-end close and deliver accurate, timely management accounts
• Strengthen financial control, compliance, and internal processes
• Own budgeting and forecasting to support planning and growth
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear commercial insight
• Improve reporting to support better, faster decision-making
• Guide pricing and margin analysis to improve profitability
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, FX exposure, and banking relationships
• Support expansion into new markets with financial modelling and analysis
• Develop and embed FP&A processes across the business
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team over time
  
  

Why you’re a great fit

Essential

• You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong experience in financial control, management accounts, and business partnering
• Commercial mindset with the ability to turn data into insight
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  
  

Desirable

• Experience in a multi-entity or international environment
• Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)
• Background in an SME or scaling business

• Salary: £75,000–£85,000
• Bonus
