We're working with an ambitious professional services organisation in Bristol that is looking to appoint a Revenue Assistant to join its Finance team. This permanent, hybrid opportunity offers the chance to develop your skills while playing an important role in delivering an accurate, client-focused billing service.

How you'll make an impact

  • Process billing and credit notes accurately and efficiently.

  • Support month-end billing activities and maintain high-quality billing data.

  • Manage work in progress, transfers, write-offs and financial adjustments.

  • Maintain charge rates and finance system records.

  • Support e-billing processes across multiple client platforms.

  • Resolve billing queries and provide excellent service to internal stakeholders.

  • Build strong relationships with operational teams and finance colleagues.

  • Support cash collection activities and escalate aged debt where appropriate.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.

  • Contribute to process improvements that strengthen the billing and revenue function.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Previous experience in a billing, revenue or finance administration role.

  • Strong Excel and finance systems skills.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience within a professional services environment would be beneficial.

  • Exposure to e-billing platforms or practice management systems would be an advantage.
