Core3 are looking for a Management Accountant to join a purpose-driven organisation in Bristol. This is a broad role where you’ll combine strong management accounting with financial analysis and business partnering, helping colleagues understand the numbers and make better-informed decisions.

Salary: £45,000 per annum
Working pattern: Full-time, hybrid
Contract: Permanent

As Management Accountant in Bristol, you’ll join a finance team where your insight will influence decisions, improve performance and support the organisation’s wider goals.

How you’ll make an impact

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Deliver clear variance analysis and commentary, highlighting risks, trends and opportunities.
• Support budget holders through effective business partnering and practical financial guidance.
• Strengthen financial control and ensure accounting policies and processes are followed.
• Support year-end activities, audit requirements and regulatory reporting.
• Improve finance processes, reporting and systems to make information more useful and efficient.
• Use financial and operational data to provide insight and support better decision-making.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, helping colleagues understand future financial performance.

Why you’re a great fit

You’ll be AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent, with further professional study welcomed. You’ll have hands-on experience preparing management accounts, journals and balance sheet reconciliations, alongside a good understanding of management accounting principles.

You’ll bring strong Excel and financial systems skills, with the ability to analyse data and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues. You’ll also be organised, collaborative and comfortable managing competing priorities without compromising accuracy.
