FP&A Manager

Core3 is delighted to be working with a growing international organisation in central Bristol to recruit an FP&A Manager.

This is a senior, hands-on finance role for someone who enjoys owning the numbers, building forecasts and working directly with decision-makers. You’ll combine FP&A and commercial finance with responsibility for a key business area, while also helping finance make better use of AI and automation.

The role is office-based five days per week in central Bristol.

There’s plenty to get stuck into. Alongside forecasting, modelling and performance analysis, you’ll have the opportunity to improve how financial information is produced and used, particularly through practical applications of AI, automation and finance technology.

How you’ll make an impact

• Own the forecasting cycle across key areas of the organisation
• Build financial models to support budgeting, strategic planning and investment decisions
• Analyse performance, investigate variances and turn the numbers into clear commercial insight
• Partner with senior stakeholders on pricing, investment, headcount and growth decisions
• Take ownership of the P&L and balance sheet for a key area of the business
• Produce management accounts and provide meaningful commentary on financial performance
• Develop KPI reporting to give leadership better visibility of commercial performance
• Identify practical opportunities to introduce AI and automation across finance
• Improve reporting and forecasting processes through better systems and technology
• Maintain strong financial controls and support year-end reporting and audit activity
• Work with external advisers on tax and wider compliance requirements

Why you’re a great fit

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong FP&A experience covering budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Confident building and challenging financial models from scratch
• Commercially minded, with experience partnering directly with senior stakeholders
• Strong management accounting and financial control knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large or complex financial data
• Genuine hands-on experience using AI, automation or technology to improve finance processes
• Comfortable taking full ownership of a P&L and explaining performance clearly
• Strong communicator who can turn detailed financial analysis into practical recommendations
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a high-ownership environment

• £75,000–£80,000 salary
