Job Description

Finance Transformation Manager

Core3 is delighted to be working with an established global organisation to recruit a Finance Transformation Manager. Based in Bristol with hybrid working (three days in the office), this is an opportunity for someone who enjoys improving finance processes, making better use of technology and delivering changes that make a real difference to how a business operates.

Why join our client

Our client is an established international organisation investing in the way its finance operations work.

You'll join a collaborative team where your ideas will be valued and you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects from initial planning through to delivery.

This Finance Transformation Manager role offers exposure to international operations, senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape how finance systems and processes develop.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead finance transformation projects that improve efficiency, accuracy and financial controls.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce unnecessary administration.

  • Review existing finance processes and develop practical solutions to improve performance.

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system improvements.

  • Support finance systems upgrades, implementations and process changes.

  • Improve the consistency of accounting processes across different teams and locations.

  • Coordinate project delivery, managing timelines, risks and stakeholder expectations.

  • Investigate finance system issues and work with colleagues to resolve them.

  • Develop reporting and process improvements that provide better financial information.

  • Support colleagues through changes to systems and ways of working.

Why you're a great fit

You'll have experience improving finance processes, working with finance systems or delivering change projects within a finance environment.

We're particularly interested in candidates who combine a good understanding of finance operations with the technical confidence to challenge existing processes and introduce better ways of working.

  • Experience in finance transformation, process improvement or finance systems.

  • Good understanding of accounting processes and financial controls.

  • Experience delivering projects involving systems, automation or operational change.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Ariba or similar platforms.

  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and develop practical improvements.

  • Experience working with stakeholders across finance, operations and technology.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Confidence managing projects, priorities and deadlines.

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical changes.

  • Experience within a shared services or international finance environment would be useful.

You don't need to have managed a team previously. We're equally interested in candidates who have led projects, influenced stakeholders and taken ownership of process improvements.

What you'll get in return

As a Finance Transformation Manager, you'll have the opportunity to develop your career within an established global organisation, taking ownership of meaningful projects and improving the way finance operates.

  • £55,000–£60,000 salary

  • Performance-related bonus

  • 10% pension

  • Bupa private healthcare

  • 27 days' annual leave plus bank holidays

  • Bristol location

  • Hybrid working, three days in the office and two days from home

  • Opportunity to lead finance transformation and automation projects

  • Exposure to international finance operations

  • Collaboration with senior stakeholders

  • Professional development and career progression opportunities
