Job Description

Data & Systems Analyst | £55,000 to £70,000 | West London | Permanent

Ideally, we are looking for

A hands-on, commercially minded Data & Systems Analyst who enjoys working close to senior leadership in a PE-backed, high-growth, multi-site business operating a buy-and-build model. You’ll be comfortable getting into the detail of data, explaining it clearly, and building trusted reporting that supports both financial and operational decision-making.

This role suits someone pragmatic and delivery focused, who can work independently, connect multiple systems, and take ownership of data and reporting rather than waiting for direction.

Why join our client

We are supporting a PE-backed, multi-site services business in a period of significant growth, driven by an active buy-and-build strategy. The business is investing heavily in its data and systems capability to support scale, integration, and better decision-making across the group.

This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to the CFO and senior leadership team, offering the opportunity to shape how data and reporting are built from the ground up. The environment is practical, fast-paced, and commercially focused.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Integrate data from finance, practice management, payroll, and operational systems

  • Extract data using APIs, databases, and flat files

  • Build and maintain automated data refreshes and reporting pipelines

  • Design robust data models to support scalable reporting

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for finance and operations

  • Reconcile reports back to source systems to ensure accuracy and trust

  • Work closely with Finance and Operations to define and track KPIs

  • Document data flows, assumptions, and reporting logic

  • Support ongoing growth and post-acquisition systems integration

Why you’re a great fit

Essential

  • Strong SQL skills

  • Solid Power BI experience, including Power Query, DAX, and data modelling

  • Experience working with APIs and structured data

  • Understanding of both financial and operational data

  • Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to work independently

Desirable

  • Experience in multi-site or services-based businesses

  • Exposure to PE-backed or high-growth environments

  • Python or similar scripting experience

  • Exposure to Azure data tools

  • Experience with M&A, systems integration, or buy-and-build models

What you’ll get in return

This is a chance to step into a high-impact data and systems role within a well-funded growth story where your work will directly influence decision-making.

You can expect:

  • £55,000 to £70,000

  • Hybrid working model

  • Direct exposure to senior leadership

  • Opportunity to build and shape reporting from the ground up

  • Involvement in a rapidly scaling, acquisitive business

Short notice periods are ideal, but the business will wait for the right person.
