How you'll make an impact

As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in connecting core financial accounting with commercial insight.

  • Deliver accurate month-end close activities and support the production of management accounts
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries to strengthen financial control
  • Analyse budget variances and contribute to budgeting and performance reporting
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to improve decision-making through financial insight
  • Support forecasting and wider FP&A activities
  • Maintain capital expenditure records and amortisation schedules
  • Assist with VAT reporting and statutory compliance requirements
  • Support year-end audit processes and provide clear audit documentation
  • Improve finance processes, reporting efficiency, and automation opportunities

Why you're a great fit

Essential

  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a clear path towards qualification
  • Experience working in a finance or accounting environment
  • Strong Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and Sumifs
  • Experience preparing reconciliations, journals, and financial reports
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
  • A proactive approach and strong attention to detail

Desirable

  • Exposure to fast-growing or changing business environments
  • Experience supporting audit, tax, or FP&A activities
  • Familiarity with accounting systems and reporting tools
