Financial Controller
Core3 is delighted to be working with an ambitious and growing business in Bristol to recruit a Financial Controller to join their finance team.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring the business has accurate financial information, strong controls, and meaningful insight to support decision-making. Alongside the core finance responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to improve systems, processes, and reporting capabilities as the business continues to evolve.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate reporting
- Oversee management accounts, group reporting, and financial controls
- Manage group consolidation across multiple entities
- Take ownership of statutory accounts, audit, tax, treasury, and payroll processes
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Provide commercial insight to support business performance
- Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support decision-making
- Develop and mentor members of the finance team
- Drive process improvement across reporting and financial operations
- Support the development of systems, automation, and data-driven reporting
Why you're a great fit
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong financial reporting and financial control experience
- Experience operating within a multi-entity environment
- Strong understanding of statutory reporting, audit, tax, and treasury
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience leading and developing finance professionals
You'll be a hands-on finance leader who combines technical excellence with commercial awareness. You'll enjoy improving processes, supporting decision-making, and helping finance deliver greater value across the business.
