Financial Controller

Core3 is delighted to be working with an ambitious and growing business in Bristol to recruit a Financial Controller to join their finance team.

This is an opportunity to step into a broad and influential Financial Controller role where you'll have ownership of financial reporting, controls, and business performance across a complex organisation.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring the business has accurate financial information, strong controls, and meaningful insight to support decision-making. Alongside the core finance responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to improve systems, processes, and reporting capabilities as the business continues to evolve.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate reporting
• Oversee management accounts, group reporting, and financial controls
• Manage group consolidation across multiple entities
• Take ownership of statutory accounts, audit, tax, treasury, and payroll processes
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• Provide commercial insight to support business performance
• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support decision-making
• Develop and mentor members of the finance team
• Drive process improvement across reporting and financial operations
• Support the development of systems, automation, and data-driven reporting
  
  

Why you're a great fit

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong financial reporting and financial control experience
• Experience operating within a multi-entity environment
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting, audit, tax, and treasury
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience leading and developing finance professionals
