How you’ll make an impact
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will ensure accurate and timely posting of incoming customer receipts and work collaboratively to reconcile and administer client accounts. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Allocating customer receipts across different systems and recording any unapplied cash.
- Monitoring the AR inbox, addressing queries, and logging them.
- Issuing and booking both automatic and manual invoices.
- Submitting invoices through various portals and verifying outgoing payments.
Weekly tasks:
- Reviewing customer ledgers and following up on unapplied cash.
- Processing and reconciling self-billing invoices.
- Updating pro-forma reconciliations and raising manual payments for customer refunds.
- Managing inter-company collections
- Preparing and posting required journals.
- Performing AR reconciliations for month-end close.
- Posting provisions for customer claims and accruals.
- Assisting with audit requests and providing supporting documentation.
