How you’ll make an impact

The Head of Finance will report directly to the CEO, leading the finance function with a focus on strategic planning, financial control, and commercial decision-making. With an exciting growth trajectory ahead, this role is integral to ensuring long-term financial sustainability and business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the financial strategy of the business, providing insights and recommendations to support commercial decisions and growth initiatives.
• Lead the transition to an advanced financial system, moving away from Sage to improve financial reporting and real-time insights.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure financial sustainability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operations, and marketing, to align financial performance with business strategy.
• Implement and enhance financial processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide the senior leadership team with data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Act as a key contact for external accountants, managing financial reporting and compliance requirements.

• ACCA, CIMA qualified, or QBE with strong financial leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
• A commercially minded leader who can balance cash flow management with growth initiatives.
• Strong systems and process improvement experience, with a track record of driving efficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels, including board-level discussions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, taking a proactive and solutions-driven approach.

• Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
• Performance Bonus: 20%
