Finance Manager

£65,000 – £75,000 + Benefits

A fast-growing, PE-backed tech start-up based near Liverpool Street is looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join their scaling team. Operating at the intersection of technology and professional services, the business is growing rapidly following a significant Series A investment round and is now entering an exciting new phase of expansion.

The Role

Working directly with the Finance Director, you’ll play a key role in managing core finance operations, building scalable systems, and supporting strategic initiatives including M&A.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of financial operations including payroll, tax, treasury, management accounts, and consolidated reporting

• Working with external partners to bring accounting and bookkeeping in-house

• Leading the monthly financial close process

• Supporting the development of financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring

• Driving process improvements across reconciliation, reporting, and controls

• Supporting regulatory and compliance requirements

About You:

• 5–10 years of finance experience, ideally with exposure to fast-paced, high-growth businesses

• Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA)

• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills

• Great communicator with a commercial mindset

• Comfortable working in an evolving, dynamic start-up environment
