Management Accountant

How you’ll make an impact
This is a hands-on role with strong business partnering exposure and plenty of opportunity to drive change. You’ll work directly with senior leadership and play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, improving systems and processes, and enhancing overall financial control.
- Play a key role in the month-end close process and provide financial insight to the Finance Director and Managing Director
- Produce timely and accurate management accounts, analysis, and cash forecasts
- Maintain robust financial control through ownership of reconciliations and balance sheet integrity
- Support the budgeting process, preparing reports and analysis for Board review and sign-off
- Drive process improvements across finance systems, controls, and reporting
- Provide financial analysis to support key decisions across all business functions
- Liaise with auditors and support the year-end process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Partner with teams across the organisation to ensure finance is well-integrated into operational decision-making
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory reporting standards (e.g. OFWAT, UK GAAP, FRS, IFRS)

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, commercial environment with tight margins and high transaction volumes
- Proven track record in financial analysis and producing reports that inform business decisions
- Experience working in a regulatory environment is a plus

- £45,000 - £55,000 salary
