Financial Accountant – Maidenhead
Core3 are delighted to partner with a market-leading organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant in Maidenhead. £60,000 – £65,000 plus excellent benefits and hybrid working.

How you’ll make an impact
This is a varied, hands-on Financial Accountant role where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality statutory and group reporting, managing treasury processes, and supporting technical accounting across multiple corporate entities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial outputs, while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen controls.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and submitting accurate monthly group reporting under IFRS.

Producing statutory accounts under FRS 101 and FRS 102, ensuring timely filing and compliance.

Managing treasury processes including FX exposure reviews, bank signatories, and money market deposits.

Reviewing board minutes and ensuring correct accounting treatment for transactions.

Coordinating with auditors, tax, legal, and treasury teams to deliver on reporting and compliance deadlines.

Supporting budget and forecast preparation for group entities.

Providing technical financial accounting guidance to internal stakeholders.

Contributing to VAT workings, ONS submissions, and other ad-hoc reporting as required.
Why our client is excited about you
You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a strong technical accounting background and ideally 1–2 years post-qualification experience. You’ll have a meticulous approach to detail, proven experience in statutory and group reporting, and the confidence to liaise with a range of stakeholders, from auditors to senior leadership. Experience in treasury management and process improvement will be highly valued, along with a proactive, “hands-on” approach to problem-solving.
