Job Description

E-Billing Assistant

Core3 are delighted to be partnering with a leading national professional services firm to recruit an E-Billing Assistant in Bristol. This is a permanent E-Billing Assistant opportunity in Bristol, offering a competitive salary package, strong benefits and flexible hybrid working.

Why join our client?

Our client is a fast growing, forward thinking professional services business with a modern, collaborative culture. Their finance function is seen as a true partner to the business, providing insight, challenge and support rather than just processing numbers.

Joining as E-Billing Assistant in Bristol, you will be part of a friendly and supportive Billing team that works closely with credit control and senior stakeholders. This is a newly created role, giving you the chance to really put your stamp on the E-Billing ledger, make a visible impact on aged debt and help improve processes for the future.

You will enjoy a mix of autonomy and support, clear expectations, and plenty of contact with both internal teams and high profile clients. Hybrid and flexible working are part of their culture, not just a policy.

How you’ll make an impact

As E-Billing Assistant, you will play a key role in improving cash flow and client experience across a portfolio of around 40 key clients and their billing platforms.

You will:

  • Take ownership of your E-Billing ledger of aged invoices and successfully obtain payment approval.

  • Regularly check client platforms and resolve billing issues before they become problems.

  • Use a wide range of client portals to input, submit and review outstanding invoices.

  • Attend weekly meetings with the Billing Supervisor and Credit Control Supervisor to help resolve aged debt and agree actions.

  • Ensure client files and matters are correctly set up and all information required for e-billing is accurate and up to date.

  • Create clear weekly reports using internal finance systems to track progress and highlight risks.

  • Act as a key point of contact for client on-boarding from an e-billing perspective.

  • Own the management of portal data, keeping all client details current and relevant.

In this E-Billing Assistant role in Bristol, your work will directly impact the speed and accuracy of billing, client satisfaction and the reduction of overdue debt.

Why our client is excited about you

The ideal E-Billing Assistant will be able to:

  • Be proactive and manage their own workload effectively, juggling multiple deadlines.

  • Communicate clearly and appropriately with people at all levels, from senior internal stakeholders to external accounts payable teams.

  • Show a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with colleagues and clients across the business, including senior leadership.

  • Work calmly and positively under pressure, adapting quickly when priorities shift.

  • Demonstrate experience in a similar high volume role using billing or e-billing platforms, either within an e-billing team or a credit control environment.

If you enjoy problem solving, getting invoices over the line and making systems work better for everyone, this E-Billing Assistant opportunity in Bristol will suit you well.

What you’ll get in return

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, growing professional services business that invests in its people. The benefits for this E-Billing Assistant role in Bristol include:

  • Competitive salary package with annual pay review.

  • Flexible benefits scheme.

  • 25 days holiday, increasing to 30 with length of service.

  • Private medical insurance.

  • Hybrid and flexible working, with genuine support for work life balance.

  • A collaborative, inclusive culture where your ideas for improving processes are welcomed.

You will be joining a finance function that plays a central role in how the business operates, with clear progression routes and exposure to senior stakeholders.

We invite applications from all qualified candidates who believe they meet the requirements of the role, while supporting and promoting equality and diversity to create an inclusive working environment for all.
