Working Capital Supervisor

 

Core3 are delighted to partner with a leading international licensing business to recruit a Working Capital Supervisor. Salary up to £35,000 and fully remote (UK) with occasional travel to Eastbourne or London, plus flexibility to support US time zones

How you’ll make an impact

 

This role supports the Group’s core working capital activity across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Banking. You will help ensure accurate reporting, robust controls, efficient cash utilisation and a smooth month-end close, while driving process improvement. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

Accounts Receivable

• Oversee month-end close for AR ledgers 

• Oversee Group bank accounts, ensuring accurate recording and strong cash controls 

• Maintain banking relationships and support account maintenance, mandates and banking projects 

• Complete final weekly and monthly reviews of bank reconciliations, supporting investigation and resolution of differences 

 

Accounts Payable

• Oversee end-to-end AP, ensuring efficient processing, adherence to payment terms and delivery to deadlines 

• Oversee month-end close for AP ledgers 

 

Financial Controls

• Oversee month-end close for Cash Management ledgers 

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance with internal controls and reporting deadlines 

• Review reconciliations, journals and supporting documentation 

• Ensure compliance with Group policies, audit requirements and internal controls 

• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities across working capital 

 

Team support

• Supervise a team of five, providing coaching and fostering a positive, collaborative environment

What we’re looking for:

• Working capital experience across AR and AP in a medium to large business 

• Strong Excel skills, Sage Intacct experience is desirable 

• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills 

• Comfortable adapting to change and working at pace, with strong attention to detail 

• Proactive, resilient and improvement-focused, comfortable under pressure and with tight deadlines
