Finance Officer, Accounts Income

 

Core3 are delighted to partner with a well established education organisation in the Bristol area to recruit two Finance Officer, Accounts Income opportunities. One position is permanent and one is fixed term until February 2027. Both roles are full time (37 hours per week) and pay up to £28,050 depending on qualifications and experience.

How you’ll make an impact 

 

You will provide a comprehensive income and bank transactions management service, ensuring an efficient and professional income service to internal stakeholders.

 

Key tasks will include:

 

  • Manage income processing and bank transactions activity

  • Maintain a log of contracted income and work with departments to ensure sales invoices are raised on a timely basis

  • Liaise with finance support services, digital services and operational teams to ensure invoices are correctly raised on the internal system

  • Keep debt under regular review and promptly escalate concerns to the Income Team Leader

  • Support accurate, timely billing and help keep income processes running smoothly during peak periods

  • GCSE Maths and English grade C or above

  • AAT Level 2

  • At least 1 years’ experience in Accounts Income systems and procedures within a similar volume environment

  • Understanding of financial procedures

  • Confident working under pressure to meet tight deadlines

  • IT literate, especially Excel and Word

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
