Senior Management Accountant (FTC) | High-Growth International Business | Slough (Hybrid) | £50,000 to £55,000

 

Exclusively working with a fast-growing international business looking to bring in a Senior Management Accountant on a 15 month fixed term contract to support the finance team during a key period.

 

This is a broad, hands-on role within a lean finance team where you will work closely with senior leadership and take ownership across the full management accounting cycle.

 

The business operates in a complex, high-volume environment and is looking for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, solving problems and helping keep the finance function running smoothly.

 

The role offers great exposure across financial reporting, operational finance and business insight, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety rather than a purely transactional accounting position.

 

What you will be doing

 

Supporting the full month-end close process from start to finish

Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across the ledgers

Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting board reporting

Acting as a key escalation point for AP and AR queries across the finance team

Supporting cashflow reporting and working capital visibility

Assisting with audit preparation and coordinating requests across the team

Supporting wider finance processes and helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations

 

What we are looking for

 

Experience in a hands-on management accounting role

Comfortable operating in a busy, operational finance environment

Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to review numbers critically

Confident supporting month-end and financial reporting processes

Open to qualified accountants or qualified by experience (QBE)

Someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, practical finance team

Salary £50,000 to £55,000

Hybrid working – typically 1 to 2 days per week in the Slough office
