Financial Controller

How you’ll make an impact
- Lead financial control across a multi-entity structure, strengthening processes and reducing risk
- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts with clear insight and commentary
- Own the year-end process, including statutory accounts and audit delivery
- Partner with senior leaders to support budgeting and forecasting decisions
- Build and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts to support financial resilience
- Improve financial controls, policies, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide clear reporting to leadership, board, and external stakeholders
- Support funder reporting with accurate, timely financial information
- Develop a responsive, well-structured finance function
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team
Why you’re a great fit
Essential
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Strong background in management accounts, statutory accounts, and financial reporting
- Experience working in a multi-entity or group structure
- Understanding of charity accounting and regulatory requirements
- Experience with cloud-based finance systems
- Track record of leading and developing finance teams
Desirable
- Experience working with external funders or grant reporting

- £60,000–£70,000 salary
