Finance Data Analyst (Data Cleansing & Migration)

Core3 is partnering with a growing organisation to recruit a Finance Data Analyst to support a major finance transformation programme.

Available on either a day-rate contract (£400–£425 per day) or a fixed-term contract (£80,000–£90,000), this is a key role focused on ensuring finance data is clean, accurate, and migration-ready ahead of the implementation of a new finance system.

You'll play a critical role in improving data quality, reducing implementation risk, and creating the foundations for reliable financial reporting and stronger financial controls.

How you'll make an impact

• Profile finance data and identify quality issues
• Lead finance master data cleansing and standardisation
• Manage structured data cleansing plans and milestones
• Define data standards, mappings, and validation rules
• Drive accountability for data ownership
• Support transactional data validation and migration readiness
• Prepare reconciliation and mapping documentation
• Support testing and defect resolution
• Produce regular programme status reporting

Why you're a great fit

• Experience working with finance data within ERP, migration, or transformation projects
• Strong understanding of General Ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, and reporting
• Experience coordinating finance data cleansing activities
• Advanced Excel skills, with Power Query desirable
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or finance system projects would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Power BI or data governance principles would be advantageous
