Senior Management Accountant

£60,000 to £70,000

London | Hybrid (3 days in the office)

We’re working with a PE backed, multi-entity retail business that’s growing rapidly and looking to appoint a commercially minded Senior Management Accountant to play a key role in building a finance function that’s fit for scale.

This is far more than a traditional management accounting position. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, driving process improvements, strengthening financial controls and providing commercial insight to support decision making as the business continues to grow.

What you’ll be doing:

• Owning month end and management accounts across multiple entities.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and complex variance analysis.
• Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders to challenge performance and support decision making.
• Taking ownership of P&Ls and providing meaningful commercial insight.
• Leading the year end audit process and improving audit readiness.
• Driving process improvements, automation and financial controls across the finance function.
• Helping build a finance function that’s scalable as the business continues its ambitious growth journey.

What we’re looking for:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong management accounting experience within a multi entity or multi site environment.
• Experience business partnering with non finance stakeholders.
• Strong commercial analysis and P&L ownership.
• Hands on experience leading audits and improving financial controls.
• A proven track record of delivering process improvements and driving efficiencies.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, PE backed or high growth environment.
