Job Description

Head of FP&A

£110,000 – £125,000 + Benefits

Central London | Hybrid - 3 days in office

We're partnering with a VC-backed technology platform that's scaling rapidly and looking to appoint a commercially driven Head of FP&A to play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of its growth.

With revenues of c.£30–40m and ambitious growth plans, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business where finance is at the heart of commercial decision-making. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll work alongside a high-calibre leadership team, helping turn financial insight into business strategy while continuing to evolve a best-in-class FP&A function.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
  • Building and enhancing financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partnering with the leadership team to provide commercial insight and challenge.
  • Owning KPI reporting, board reporting and performance analysis.
  • Delivering scenario modelling, investment appraisals and business cases.
  • Driving improvements across FP&A processes, reporting and financial systems.
  • Supporting fundraising, strategic projects and the next phase of business growth.
  • Building strong relationships across finance and the wider business to raise the commercial capability of the function.

What we're looking for:

  • ACA qualified, ideally Big Four or Top 10 trained.
  • Strong post-qualified experience within FP&A or Commercial Finance.
  • Experience gained within a VC-backed or high-growth technology, SaaS or platform business.
  • Outstanding financial modelling, commercial analysis and data interpretation skills.
  • A proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership teams to support strategic decision-making.
  • Someone who enjoys building, improving and scaling finance functions rather than simply maintaining them.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to step into a highly visible leadership role within a fast-growing technology business. You'll work directly with an impressive CFO and leadership team, helping shape the commercial direction of the business while building an FP&A function that supports its ambitious growth journey.
