How you'll make an impact

My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Support Specialist to join their Finance team. You'll have a strong background in accounting and finance, with hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial management. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding new clients, providing ongoing support and training, and ensuring that their software meets the needs of their customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new clients and provide hands-on support during the first month, including training sessions and regular check-ins.
  • Monitor client usage of the software and proactively address any issues or concerns.
  • Conduct regular MOTs (Meetings of Things) with clients to ensure they are using the software effectively.
  • Create and maintain customer success plans, tailored to each client's unique needs and objectives.
  • Conduct training demos for clients and their teams, both remotely and in person.
  • Analyse and report on client usage and satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for upselling.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for clients, including ticket tracking and resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client feedback and prioritise product enhancements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our software and its integration with other accounting tools, such as Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in financial management and accounting.

Why we are excited about you

  • AAT qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including bookkeeping, reconciling, VAT, and P&L reports.
  • Experience with project accounting and cost centers preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial management software.
  • Experience working with event budgets or festival accounts is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility to work a hybrid model, with 2 days remote and 3 days in the office.
