As an Accounts Payable Team Leader based in Chipping Sodbury, you'll lead a multilingual team delivering high-quality accounts payable services across several international locations. This is an opportunity to combine people leadership with process improvement in a business that values collaboration and long-term development.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead, coach and develop an Accounts Payable team processing high volumes of transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, supplier payments and purchase-to-pay activities.
- Monitor performance against SLAs and promote a right-first-time approach.
- Support the resolution of complex accounts payable queries and escalations.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Improve accounts payable processes by identifying efficiencies and reducing recurring issues.
- Carry out root cause analysis and implement practical process improvements.
- Share knowledge, deliver training and strengthen team capability.
- Champion continuous improvement across finance operations.
Why you're a great fit
Essential
- Fluent Polish and English, both written and spoken.
- Previous experience leading an Accounts Payable, shared services or transactional finance team.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, invoice processing and supplier management.
- Experience working within SLA-driven environments.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience coaching, developing and motivating team members.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Desirable
- Experience working within an international shared service environment.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and finance systems.
